Always putting the client first

It's been a while since I posted anything on my blog so thought I'd take this opportunity to jump on and say a few words.

I've had a really busy few months treating and assessing clients whilst constantly researching and training to get the best possible outcomes for those clients in every case. I purposely set up my appointment availability to allow plenty of time to review each case before treatment, allow discussion and feedback from clients and ensure that it does not feel like a conveyor belt where I'm rushing people through to get to the next appointment.

I make sure I take the time to go through individual treatment histories, so that when you arrive for your appointment, I am fully up to speed with what has already been done in order to give us a head start on the day. As such, at times it may appear appointments are quite limited, but that is only because IJL sports massage therapy is client focussed and not business focussed.

Clients often ask when they should come back for treatment. This is an individual decision. Please don't ever feel that I don't want you back for treatment if I don't insist you come back in a few days, for example. I never put pressure on people, it's always best to see how you feel a day or two afterwards and then make your own decision from there. Of course, if you want to re-book straight away to ensure a certain day or time that too is fine.

Having the client fully aware and involved in the treatment is my philosophy and as existing clients will I hope confirm, I actively promote self-help techniques between appointments. Many symptoms take time to manifest and as such they take time and patience to treat and go away. This is what I aim to provide first and foremost, putting the client first.
